In 2009...
. . . please join us for the Pacific Northwest edition of Midwinter Gathering (Friday, February 13 - Monday, February 16th). Whether your orientation is "plain" or "fancy," we want you to spend Valentine's Day Weekend with us.
Each year, Friends for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Concerns (FLGBTQC) sponsors a mid-winter Gathering, and this year, for the first time, it will be located in the Pacific Northwest.
This will be a time for deep reflection on spiritual origins, and an opportunity to discern how they illuminate the challenges of our own time. Our theme, Faith Calls for Justice, on the Same Terms, reflects the witness for justice at the heart of the Quaker tradition.
We shall gather at Camp Adams, the sprawling, rustic evergreen camp owned by our good friends at the United Church of Christ. Camp Adams provides a 210-acre recreational retreat center in the foothills area of Molalla, Oregon, 35 miles south of Portland (about 45 minutes travel time).
